The 2025 South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) is now open for registrations. To become a member of the Port Melbourne Colts Junior Football Club (PMCJFC), click the 'Register now' button below to register via PlayHQ.
Junior players can only register for the 2025 season if their date of birth is within:
01 Jan 2007 - 30 Apr 2018
Please ensure you provide all required information, and stay in touch with the club to ensure a smooth registration experience.
Not quite old enough to become a junior player? Register now for Auskick. An introductory program aimed at kids aged 5 to 7 years (born after 30th April 2018), focusing on basic skills like kicking, handballing, marking, and tackling in a fun and supportive environment.

Player information
All new junior players will need to provide a copy of their birth certificate. If not previously provided, please email a photo of the player(s) passport or birth certificate to our registrar as soon as possible.
Junior players can only register for the 2025 season if their date of birth is within the range of:
01 Jan 2007 - 30 Apr 2018

- U10: 01/01/2015 - 31/12/2015

Registration fees
Pricing for the 2025 season is made up of our PMCJFC fee + $58 SMJFL and insurance charge. All registered players have access to the SMJFL insurance plan.
All players will also have an opportunity to purchase our re-designed, high quality fleeced-lined hoodie at a special $30 rego-offer price. View product & size chart.
New Players
- $320 ($262 fee + $58 SMJFL)
- Welcome kit (match shorts + socks + Colts gear bag)
Returning Players
- $280 ($222 fee + $58 SMJFL)
Restricted 6-Game Player
- $200 ($142 fee + $58 SMJFL)
- 6 fixtured game days (maximum)
We also provide a 25% sibling discount (please use the same e-mail address when registering).
Note that all restricted 6-game registrations are subject to committee approval.
Player transfers
Players who have played football previously at another junior club anywhere in Australia must:
- Inform their former club of their intent to join PMCJFC in the SMJFL
- Email the player's name, date of birth, FootyWeb number (if known), previous club and league details to our registrar.
Our committee will review the information and may request further background in order to assess consistency with our PMCJFC code of conduct.

Club apparel will be available for purchase online from January 1, 2025.
